மனிதன் வாழ்வதாலேயே ‘தூசு படிந்து’ போய்விடுகிற அவனுடைய ‘உண்மை வாழ்க்கையை’ கண்டறிந்து கொள்வதற்கு கலைகள் உதவிசெய்ய முடியும். ஆனால், கலைகள் உண்மையான மன விழிப்பைக் கொடுக்க வேண்டுமானால் அவைகள் சுதந்திரமான, தெளிவான, பயமற்ற உள்ளத்திலிருந்து படைக்கப்பட வேண்டும்
