Our friendship dates back to the days of THE MADRAS ART CLUB, starting around mid sixties. We were around thirty non professionals, as keen as the professionals to learn, to improve. Our guides were stalwarts in the art field: Anthony Doss, Santhana Raj, Surendranath and others. My friend is a poet and an artist who has received several accolades from different quarters.

This is an endearing portrait of mine by my multifaceted life long friend Dhanushkoti whose association crossed nearly 60 years by now. His association always inspired me to be dedicated to our chosen path and be firm on your principles. It fills me with joy and gratitude to think about such loving relationship in life.
